TOP 5 BRUNCH SOUTH FLORIDA

I’m a huge fan of brunch especially with unlimited mimosas and South Florida definitely has an abundance of brunch spots. What’s better than going to an establishment with some friends, eat breakfast food, and drink an unlimited amount of mimosas? That sounds like the perfect weekend to me. I’ve compiled my top 5 favorite brunch spots in South Florida. Take a gander and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

1. Matchbox

1860 Sawgrass Mills Cir #5100, Sunrise, FL 33323

Located right outside of the Sawgrass Mill Malls. They offer brunch on the weekends 11:30 am-3:00 pm. They bring out the whole bottle of champagne and 4 juices to choose from. (orange, cranberry, pineapple, and peach juices). They refill the juices and bring out new bottles for you; just tip the empty bottle upside down in the bottle holder. My favorite go to brunch meal is their crab egg benedict. It comes with a crab cake, an egg, two slices of bacon, toast, and a side salad. SO GOOD!

2. Milk Money Bar & Kitchen

815 NE 13th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304

Two words, BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH. They offer mimosa, Bloody Mary, and grapefruit bellini. The food was pretty good too, I had the avocado toast with glazed maple bacon and two sunny side up eggs, tomato and feta on toast. The restaurant was hip with a chic decor. They even have a coffee shop right inside the establishment. Brunch is also only on the weekends 7:00 am-4:00 pm.

3. Tap 42

1411 S Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

The first place I experienced bottomless mimosas when I moved to Florida. Brunch is on the weekend and the hours are 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (MIMOSAS, BLOODY MARYS, FUNKY BUDDHA FLORIDAN). Yes, they offer beer if you’re not into mimosas! A couple of my favorite meals are, Smashed Avocado toast, (sunny side up eggs on toasted baguette, charred corn & black bean salsa, cotija cheese, crispy shoestring potatoes and creamy garlic mojo. I also recommend their Green Eggs & Ham Benedict. Pro Tip-call and make a reservation for brunch because it gets packed!

4. Rocco’s Tacos

1313 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 3330

UNLIMITED MIMOSAS & ENDLESS BLOODY MARYS. Tacos and mimosas? those should be my middle name. A few of my favorites are the carne asada, chorizo, and carne molida hard tacos. Of course, through a few margaritas in and you’re golden. They make killer margaritas with all sorts of flavors. Great food and tasty drinks calls for an awesome day.

5. B.C. Cafe

4801 S University Dr #123, Davie, FL 33328

Food truck turned restaurant, they make a killer breakfast and of course unlimited mimosas. They’re known for their ramen noodles and tacos. I had their BRUTUS’ BREAKFAST PLATTER which comes with two eggs, breakfast potatoes, choice of bacon, sausage or ham and a short stack of pancakes. I was full and content from that meal and of course my unlimited mimosas.
