I joined fellow blogger, Sweet Serendipity on a 30 day blogging challenge. Sometimes I run out of blog topics and thought this was a great idea to spice it up a bit. I love meeting other bloggers and sharing ideas with each other.  It’s always a great feeling to meet like-minded people and lift each other up! I’m still a new blogger and learning the ins and outs of the blogging world. I’m hoping to gain as much knowledge and create valuable content for my readers!

FACT 1. I’m the eldest out of 7

I love being in a big family. Let’s just say I was never bored when living at home. I have two sisters and four brothers. I love watching them grow up throughout the years. My goal is to be a role model they can look up to.

FACT 2. I’ve never been to Cambodia

My parents were from Cambodia and they came to the United States in the early 80’s. I’ve always wanted to visit my parent’s motherland but never had a chance to yet. The major reason is, it’s a long flight and I would have to take a month off of work to fully experience the country. I will eventually visit, it’s on my bucket list!

FACT 3. My dream career is to be a food and travel journalist

Growing up, I always envied the foodies and travelers on television. I love traveling and I love food, that is the ultimate dream job, travel to eat and documenting it.  A few of my favorites are Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, and Guy Fieri. The difference is, I’m not a chef, I’m just a food eating connoisseur haha!

FACT 4. I love nature and the environment

In college, I majored in geography. In high school, I used to voluntarily clean up parks and beaches. I care for the earth’s health because I want to leave this earth cleaner than when I came into this world. I prefer living in a rural area over city living; I also love going to parks and camping.

FACT 5. I love self pampering

Catch me at the spa getting a full body massage, facial, acupuncture, you name it, if it’s relaxing, I’m there. I think it’s important to take care of yourself. If you’re not functioning at your best self, you won’t be able to do your daily tasks efficiently. When I take a spa day every so often, I feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally.
